For the whole of the summer of 2010 The Waspman will be removing wasps nests throughout Lancashire, Manchester, Trafford and Cheshire for a fixed fee of only £32.00 (£44.50 in postcodes (CH, CW & L).

The Waspman work 7 days per week including evenings and weekends and do not charge extra for evening and weekend wasp nest work.

Wasps nests can usually be destroyed from the exterior of the property by injecting a small amount of wasp powder into the entrance using a special applicator.

It is vital to get a wasps’ nest destroyed before September when the new queens which will build the following year’s nests start to be produced. Once this starts simply destoying the nest will not deal with these queens as they are no longer using the nest. A single nest can create about 2000 queens.

In the wasps nest season we give priority to wasp nest calls as we are aware that many people can have a severe reaction to wasps stings and it is vital to remove the nest as with the utmost urgency. We do our very best to provide a rapid same day service but this is naturally ruled by how much work we have on.

It is neither necessary nor desirable to remove the wasp nest itself as it can’t be used again and, being made purely of wasp paper it will eventually crumble away by itself.
